service is our name

In line with our slogan “service is our name”, we want to offer you the best possible service at all times. On top of delivering our natural fibre products, we help you implement your products throughout the entire process – from your product idea to final implementation. This is why we at Isowood cooperate with competent partners who complement our scope of supply. This way, we can assist you in every step of the process: from choosing the right fibre to the finishing touches to your product.

Our longstanding business relationship with our fibre supplier, SachsenLeinen GmbH (www.sachsenleinen.de) has evolved into a strategic partnership. The company specialises in delivering and optimising flax, hemp and sisal fibres. We involve SachsenLeinen in the early development stages of our projects, so that we can cooperate in developing and producing value-for-money fibre composites which are tailored exactly to our customers’ needs.

In addition, Isowood GmbH cooperates with Rabe design & engineering GmbH (www.rabe-design.de), a company which specialises in developing concepts and products for the automotive and supplier industries. As part of our cooperation, Isowood runs a pilot plant for pressing experiments as well as a laboratory for determining material characteristics. Both Isowood and Rabe design & engineering GmbH are highly experienced in applying natural fibre composites in automotive manufacturing, in particular as base materials for door and side panels, seat and pillar linings and boot linings. Our cutting-edge composites can also be applied for dash boards, centre consoles and roof liners.

If a project requires testing before or during production or even special tests which we cannot carry out ourselves, you can always rely on our competent partner, the Ostthüringische Materialprüfungsgesellschaft (Eastern Thuringian Materials Testing Society), which is located nearby. The OMPG (www.ompg.de) is an accredited testing laboratory which complies with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards and tests plastics and composites to their chemical and physical/mechanical characteristics, as well as offering a number of additional services. Tests are performed on raw materials, intermediate products and end products in line with ISO standards and customers’ specifications. OMPG’s experience and expertise in characterisation support your quality assurance efforts for your materials.

Jakob Winter GmbH (www.jakob-winter.de) has been working with high-quality natural fibre composites for more than ten years. Not least thanks to its successful partnerships with leading research institutes and Isowood, J. Winter GmbH has become a leader in process engineering as well as the refinement and coating of these seminal natural materials. Highly-skilled experts and in-house model and moulding cast production have turned this owner-run company into an extremely flexible partner for natural fibre materials that are tailored exactly to the customers’ needs. The host of possible applications for natural fibre composites opens up new approaches for materials that are both cost-efficient and kind to the environment.

If you require further advice as to how to implement your ideas and products or how to design and implement plants or equipment for thermoplastic natural fibre moulded composites, we can put you in touch with reputable manufacturers with decades of experience who will be delighted to help you with your project.
